Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Security Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with designing and implementing robust security architectures to safeguard our systems, data, and assets against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the security architecture across all systems
- Establish and promote security standards, patterns, and best practices
- Perform security risk assessments and threat modeling exercises
- Specify security requirements for new systems and features
- Conduct code and architecture reviews to identify security vulnerabilities
- Deploy security controls and mitigation strategies
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and technological advancements
- Work closely with development teams to ensure secure design implementation
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security
- At least 3 years of experience in security architecture or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of application, network, and cloud security
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
- Solid understanding of cryptography, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with secure software development practices
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CSSLP, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
