Sales Development Representative (Americas) at Toggl


We are seeking motivated and self-driven Sales Development Representatives to help drive our growth by acquiring new customers. If you are a dependable professional who can balance a customer-focused mindset with a results-driven approach, we want to connect with you.
The base salary for this role is $35,000 (plus uncapped variable compensation), with On-target earnings estimated at $55,000. Your OTE will depend on your target market, not your location.


This is a fully remote position, and you can work from anywhere within the Central/Eastern US time zone.

The Role

Toggl Hire is one of four products under the Toggl umbrella. We are transforming the hiring process with a skills-based approach that enables companies to identify top talent quickly and efficiently. With a rapidly growing customer base, we are expanding our reach by hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR).


As an SDR, you will be part of Toggl’s broader sales team, but your primary mission will be to establish and grow the outbound sales strategy for Toggl Hire. You will identify, hunt, and qualify outbound leads across our ideal customer profiles (ICPs). Over time, the role will also involve working with Toggl Track’s customer base to uncover cross-sell opportunities. You’ll be responsible for building a pipeline of prospects and creating qualified opportunities for Account Executives. This role is perfect for someone agile, with a growth mindset, and eager to advance their sales career in a fast-growing, fully remote SaaS company.


Your primary target markets will be North America and Europe.


Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers through email, phone, and video outreach
  • Research and qualify outbound leads that align with Toggl Hire’s ideal customer profile
  • Create a positive first impression with prospects and educate them on how Toggl Hire can streamline their hiring processes
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' hiring needs and assess their fit for the platform
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and support deal closure
  • Work closely with the SDR Team Lead and Head of Sales to develop and refine the Toggl Hire SDR Playbook
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities in our CRM
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation and qualification
  • Continuously learn about Toggl Hire’s product, industry trends, and best practices in outbound sales
  • Share insights from prospect interactions with the broader team to influence product and business decisions
  • Engage with existing Toggl Track customers to identify potential cross-sell opportunities for Toggl Hire

About You

  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box when engaging prospects
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Bonus points for: Previous experience in HR Tech or the recruiting industry
