Why Remote? Post Job

Working remotely changes your life forever

Remote WordPress Developer/Technical Writer at Soflyy

Fully Remote and Asynchronous Work Environment
Our team operates entirely remotely, with members spread across the globe. Your location or time zone doesn’t matter—what matters is your ability to deliver high-quality work. We value flexibility and collaboration, no matter where you are.

Your primary focus will be crafting top-notch technical long-form content. This includes documentation, tutorials, blog posts, and more. SEO knowledge isn’t required—we’ll handle that. Your expertise in WordPress and your ability to write engaging, clear, and informative content are what we’re looking for.

There’s also an exciting opportunity to create video content for our YouTube channels, adding another dimension to your role.

Unmatched Flexibility
As a small team, we prioritize flexibility. You can choose when and where you work—whether it’s mornings, evenings, or even the middle of the night. Need time off for a trip? Take it. Feeling like a day off? Go for it, no questions asked. We trust you to manage your time and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and publish high-quality technical content tailored for a knowledgeable audience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the products and tools you write about.
  • Depending on the project, you may write articles from scratch, create outlines for other writers, or edit content produced by others.
  • Some articles will require preparation, such as testing, gathering screenshots, and planning the structure.

What We’re Looking For
Above all, we value your ability to produce exceptional content. The more of these qualifications you meet, the better (listed in order of importance):

  • Availability to work 20-30 hours per week.
  • Native-level written English with the ability to simplify complex technical topics in an engaging way.
  • Expertise in WordPress and its ecosystem, including page builders, ACF, WooCommerce, and other niche tools.
  • Years of experience in the WordPress space, with a strong background in troubleshooting, debugging, and understanding WordPress database structures. Bonus points for plugin development experience.
  • Intermediate PHP knowledge, including the ability to write functions and create custom website components.
  • A quick learner who can adapt to new software and technologies related to WordPress and PHP.
