Your Mission
This isn't a typical design position - it's a leadership role requiring product thinking. You'll establish the UX vision, determine priorities, and convert sophisticated AI automation into intuitive experiences.
While reporting to the CEO, you'll operate with complete autonomy. Our product team is focused on development, so you'll need to analyze workflows, reinvent user journeys, and drive UX decisions independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive UX strategy to enhance simplicity and intuitiveness
- Redesign fundamental processes by identifying and eliminating workflow pain points
- Engage directly with end-users (hotel staff, tenants, guests) to understand their challenges
- Focus on high-value UX improvements that maximize impact with limited resources
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts - potentially managing freelance UI designers
- Collaborate with developers while advocating for optimal UX solutions
- Challenge technical constraints when they compromise user experience
- Validate designs through usability testing and research
- Establish and maintain design standards for consistency
Ideal Candidate Profile

- Master at simplifying complex systems into seamless flows
- Familiar with AI/automation or eager to learn about user interactions with these technologies
- Background in SaaS, B2B platforms, or AI-powered tools
- Thrives in fast-paced startup environments requiring rapid iteration
- Execution-focused with ability to quickly implement and test UX improvements
- Skilled at balancing UX ideals with technical realities when working with developers
- Hospitality, real estate, or automation platform experience is a plus (but not required)
