Software Engineering Manager at Wisnam

Your Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams (around 15 members), helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, including Power Plant Controllers, SCADA systems, and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Define, track, and review OKRs to ensure alignment with WiSNAM’s sustainability and innovation goals.
- Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing top engineering talent to strengthen the team.
- Optimize engineering processes to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency in delivering energy management solutions.
- Champion agile methodologies, providing coaching on Scrum and Kanban practices.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support team members, gather feedback, and foster their professional growth.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the organization.

What We’re Looking For
- You’re smart, resourceful, and results-driven.
- You have a proven track record of managing and growing high-performing engineering teams.
- You bring a strong technical background with experience in software development.
- You’re skilled in modern engineering practices and agile methodologies.
- You have experience working with diverse, globally distributed, remote teams.
- You can maintain a 4-hour overlap with the CET time zone (preferably westbound).
- You’re eligible to obtain a visa and can travel to Italy within three months of joining.
