Patchstack is the world’s leading WordPress vulnerability processor. We manage an ethical hacker community dedicated to identifying and resolving vulnerabilities in WordPress core, plugins, and themes.

We use this information to protect WordPress users from malicious attacks. Our mission is to secure the entire lifecycle of open-source software, and we’re seeking motivated individuals to join us in this mission.
 
What we do:
  • We offer a SaaS solution to detect and virtually patch plugin vulnerabilities.
  • We operate a community-driven bug bounty platform (Patchstack Alliance) to support independent security researchers in the WordPress ecosystem.
  • We maintain a free and open WordPress vulnerability database
  • We provide vulnerability data to major WordPress hosting companies.
  • We offer professional code reviews and security audits for WordPress plugins.
Who are we looking for?

This is a hands-on role for those who enjoy experimenting with content and learning new skills. One week you might be creating TikTok videos, and the next, recording webinar sessions.

We value creative freedom, so you’ll have the opportunity to test and implement your ideas.

In addition to flexing your creativity, you’ll take the lead in sharing our content and growing our social media presence. You’ll shape our social media strategy, making this role ideal for someone who wants ownership of their work.

 
Key responsibilities:
  • Produce video and other content for various social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy.
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats for social media.
  • Collaborate with creative partners to explore new content formats.
  • Engage with customers and followers.
  • Stay updated on social media trends.
  • Create workflows to manage campaigns and distribute content across our channels.
  • Experiment with new channels, formats, and ideas to educate people about security.
Key requirements
  • Experience in video creation.
  • Proficiency with video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.).
  • Experience in creating and managing diverse content formats.
  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Experience in content strategy and planning.
  • Excellent written English skills.
  • [Optional] Experience managing paid social ads.
  • Time zone: EEST (+/- 2 hours).
