Senior Webflow Developer at Trojan Holdings Limited

Remote, must be available to work within New Zealand Time Zone (GMT+12 / GMT+13) for at least 5 hours daily. Contract duration: 6 to 8 months.

We are seeking an experienced senior web developer contractor with deep Webflow proficiency and a solid software engineering foundation to join a sophisticated multi-site initiative. You will work alongside fellow developers, actively participating in technical strategy and group decision-making.

Role Overview:
You will be instrumental in delivering three interlinked websites built on a substantial shared component library, utilizing modern Webflow resources like Relume and Finsweet. The role includes managing style guides, developing custom JavaScript and CSS, and integrating external APIs with Webflow. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, contributing to technical choices and group direction 
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive shared Webflow component library using Relume and Finsweet 
  • Implement and sustain three separate style guides tied to a unified design system 
  • Develop advanced custom JavaScript and CSS to enhance Webflow capabilities 
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs with Webflow sites 
  • Maintain detailed, current technical documentation for all development and processes 
  • Apply software engineering best practices including modular architecture, code reuse, and variables 

Your Background:

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional web development, with significant Webflow mastery
  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex Webflow projects to production, including use of Relume and Finsweet
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, with hands-on custom coding and integration 
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Alpine.js and React.js 
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles and ability to contribute to collaborative technical decisions 
  • Exceptional documentation habits, ensuring clarity and currency in all records 
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to Webflow workflows and operate autonomously within a team 
  • Fluent English and effective remote collaboration skills 
  • Must be available during New Zealand business hours (GMT+12 / GMT+13)
