You’ll focus on two flagship apps: [Pillow](https://pillow.app), a sleep-tracking app, and [Today](https://neybox.com/today), a wellness app for quantified-self enthusiasts. Both apps have earned Editors’ Choice awards, been featured in top media outlets, and serve millions of users worldwide. Exciting updates are on the horizon!
👨‍💻 What Are My Responsibilities?
As a Senior iOS Developer, your tasks will include:
- Developing new features
- Debugging and fixing issues
- Maintaining and improving the existing codebase
- Writing Unit Tests for new and existing features
- Ensuring project documentation is clear and up-to-date
- Researching and experimenting with new technologies and frameworks
- ⚠️ This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. Part-time arrangements are not available.
🛠️ What’s the Tech Stack?
Here’s a quick overview:
- Both apps are built in Swift using MVVM and MVC architectures.
- The UI is developed with SwiftUI and UIKit.
- We prioritize clean, well-documented code and write Unit Tests.
- We leverage various frameworks and machine learning technologies.
- The apps are exclusive to iOS platforms.
🌍 Is Remote Work Available?
Absolutely! Our team is fully remote, with flexible working hours. However, we require a reasonable overlap in time zones for collaboration.
🤝 What’s It Like Working at Neybox?
We’re a small, tight-knit team that collaborates closely Monday through Friday. We use Slack and Linear for coordination and keep meetings to a minimum. There’s no middle management, so ideas flow freely, and teamwork is key.
Requirements
- 4+ years of iOS development experience using Swift
- Proficiency in HealthKit, CoreML, SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Animation, GCD, Core Data, and WatchKit
- Experience with Git version control, Unit Testing, and Continuous Integration
- Skilled in performance profiling using Xcode Instruments
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Eagerness to learn and experiment with new technologies
- References from previous employers may be required
- Proficient in MacOS and iOS environments
