Senior DevSecOps Engineer at OMW Consulting
We are looking for a skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to embed security deeply into our DevOps workflows and infrastructure.
Your primary focus will be on architecting, deploying, and maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable systems. You will work closely with development, operations, and security groups to automate processes, uphold security standards, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Core Duties:
- Integrate and manage security measures within CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Oversee and enhance cloud platforms (AWS) for performance and reliability.
- Orchestrate container deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Create and support automation utilities and scripts in Python.
- Execute vulnerability scans, security evaluations, and handle security incidents.
- Partner with engineering to embed security early in the software lifecycle.
- Carry out compliance checks, audits, and ongoing surveillance.
- Advise and coach less experienced team members.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline, or relevant work history.
- Minimum 5 years in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or comparable positions.
- Substantial hands-on AWS design and service experience.
- Skilled with GitLab for source control and CI/CD orchestration.
- Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Advanced Python scripting capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of security frameworks and risk mitigation.
- Background in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Acquaintance with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and teamwork abilities.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Additional Assets:
- AWS professional certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Exposure to IL 6/7 systems.
