Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer (remote) at CData Software

As a Senior Platform Engineer at CData Software, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation for our Cloud products. We’re seeking a proactive leader to refine our infrastructure, architect scalable solutions, and collaborate with a dynamic team. Success in this role demands meticulous attention to detail and a passion for mastering emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps adoption across the organization.
• Accelerate product delivery through scalable, reusable templates and modules.
• Troubleshoot large-scale issues and implement permanent resolutions.
• Design, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance infrastructure for CData’s cloud applications.
• Boost availability, scalability, and performance of Cloud services.
• Establish and track SLAs for uptime and system reliability.
• Strengthen monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks.

• Mandatory: Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience), plus 5+ years in software development.
• Proficiency in Linux, containers, and Kubernetes (development and operations).
• 5+ years with public cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience deploying Java/C# applications.
• GitOps workflows (FluxCD ideal).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Database knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with dev tools (JIRA, Git, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of APIs, messaging systems, and networking fundamentals.
