Senior C# Developer at Spectral Core
Join our team as a C# developer with strong database expertise, particularly in PostgreSQL. Your primary focus will be converting Oracle code to PostgreSQL. We're nearing completion with our custom-built parser (500x faster than ANTLR) and SQL translator (1000x faster than competitors). You'll work with our advanced IDE that:
- Creates semantic database models
- Conducts static code analysis
- Produces data lineage
- Features a comprehensive testing framework
Your responsibilities include developing PostgreSQL equivalents for Oracle code, mapping C# models to PostgreSQL structures, and generating final SQL output. Quality is paramount—we maintain 20,000+ tests for parsing and translation.
Our tech stack includes .NET 9 and Svelte. You'll join the Semantic team focused on SQL Tran, with potential involvement in additional SQL dialect translations or our next-gen cloud database IDE.
Requirements
- Expertise in C#/.NET and database design/management
- In-depth PostgreSQL knowledge (Oracle experience beneficial)
- Ability to write clean, efficient code
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Hiring Process: Initial interview with company leadership, followed by a 30-60 minute paired coding exercise to assess your C# and database skills.
Details
- Start Date: Immediate, with probation period
- Schedule: 8 AM – 4 PM CET, flexible for personal commitments
- Compensation: €5,000–€7,000 monthly
- Contract: Croatian employment or B2B arrangement
- Vacation: 25 days annually
- Meetings: Brief weekly Zoom updates
