The Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive new sales. Your mission will be to help universities and high schools expand their donor base using Almabase. You’ll manage marketing-qualified leads generated through inbound, outbound, cross-sell, and partner channels, guiding prospects from initial contact to contract signing. Post-signature, our Customer Success team will take over to ensure their success.
While most sales occur remotely via Zoom, you’ll also have opportunities to represent Almabase at US conferences, meet potential customers in person, and close deals face-to-face.
We’re seeking someone with at least 2 years of B2B software sales experience, ideally in solution-selling to mid-market/enterprise customers ($20k-$50k ACV). This is a remote role, but you must be based in the US.

What We Offer:

  • Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with options to include dependents/family members at a reasonable cost (via the QSEHRA program)

Compensation:

  • $150k OTE ($75k base + $75k on-target commissions)
  • Uncapped commissions (one of our AEs achieved 200% OTC last year)
  • Annual Quota: $1.5M total contract value (TCV), translating to ~$500k-$550k ARR
  • Commission rate: 5% of TCV, accelerating to 7.5% for over-quota performance ($375k TCV per quarter)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close deals, manage opportunity-to-closed-won conversion rates, and contribute to pipeline growth through conferences.
  • Conduct qualification calls to assess prospects’ BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing).
  • Deliver product demos, present pricing, and handle contract negotiations.
  • Nurture leads with high-quality follow-ups and collaborate with partner organizations on co-selling opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the product team based on prospect insights and pain points.
  • Attend 1-2 conferences per quarter to network and generate leads.

Work Hours:

You’ll need to be available from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, regardless of your time zone.

Requirements:

Skills & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of B2B software sales experience, ideally in the nonprofit/education space.
  • Experience closing $20k-$50k ARR deals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn the product, market, and solution-selling methodology.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRMs is a plus.
