The Opportunity

We need a Principal or Staff-level full-stack engineer who blends technical expertise with product thinking and design sensibility. Our tech stack centers on React (TypeScript + Tailwind/Shadcn) and Ruby on Rails (Rails knowledge preferred but not mandatory).

You'll primarily develop our internal platform - a versatile system powering everything from SEO optimization to AI-driven content tools. As an early-stage team member, you'll need to adapt to evolving priorities.

AI fluency is non-negotiable. We expect all team members to leverage tools like Cursor for maximum productivity (we'll help you get up to speed if needed). This remote position requires at least 4 hours of overlap with US Pacific Time during standard working hours.

Your Mission

  • Partner with Client Ops to architect and implement full-stack solutions that empower internal teams
  • Develop and refine features using React (TypeScript) and Ruby on Rails to optimize workflows
  • Transform conceptual sketches into polished, production-grade features with exceptional UX
  • Harness AI tools like Cursor to supercharge development and maintenance processes
  • Craft intuitive, visually compelling interfaces that delight users
  • Design with meticulous attention to usability and interaction clarity
  • Write crisp, effective interface copy
  • Contribute to marketing projects requiring technical implementation
  • Help build and maintain our AI Workflow systems (we'll teach you this if needed)

The ideal candidate brings:
  • Technical Mastery: Demonstrated full-stack proficiency with React, Ruby on Rails (or Python), PostgreSQL, and modern frontend frameworks
  • AI Enthusiasm: Passion for GenAI, LLMs, and developer tools like Cursor
  • Design Instincts: Ability to independently create clean, user-centric interfaces
