Your Role
As part of our globally distributed engineering team spanning 6 countries, you'll collaborate closely with product, support, and customer success teams in a flexible, remote environment.
A Day in the Life
Your weekly responsibilities will include:
- Improving existing features based on user feedback
- Optimizing performance and user experience
- Debugging and resolving technical issues
- Architecting and implementing new functionality
- Developing automated tests
- Participating in code reviews
- Contributing to backlog prioritization
- Joining planning and retrospective meetings
- Enhancing system performance and security
- Conducting technical research
Our Technology
Our primary stack includes Zend Framework with server-side rendering, MySQL databases, and jQuery for frontend interactions. We're transitioning toward API-first architecture using Symfony components, with Flutter powering our mobile app.
What You Bring
- 2+ years professional PHP experience
- Expertise in PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.)
- Solid JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills
- Experience with jQuery and jQuery UI
- MySQL schema design and query optimization abilities
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility
- Testing experience
- Fluent English communication
- 3-4 hour overlap with London timezone
What We Offer
- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
- $45-65K annual salary (location-dependent)
