Junior QA Analyst (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manual Testing: Perform detailed test plans for new features and updates, ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are met.

  • Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and report software defects with clear descriptions and reproducible steps.

  • Test Case Management: Help maintain and update our test case library to align with current software functionality.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and team members to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout development.

  • Documentation: Assist in updating product documentation as new features are introduced or modified.

  • Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing sessions and provide feedback to enhance user experience.

  • Quality Processes: Contribute to refining and improving our QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in software testing or a related field

  • Proven experience in manual testing, including plan-based and exploratory approaches

  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools

  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test cases

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the QA field

  • Availability to work Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 17:00 UTC +/- 2 hours

While not required, the following skills are considered a plus. If you lack experience in these areas, we’ll provide training to help you develop them:

  • Basic SQL query writing for data verification

  • Experience in mobile app testing

  • Experience in API testing
