Junior QA Analyst (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing: Perform detailed test plans for new features and updates, ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and report software defects with clear descriptions and reproducible steps.
Test Case Management: Help maintain and update our test case library to align with current software functionality.
Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and team members to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout development.
Documentation: Assist in updating product documentation as new features are introduced or modified.
Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing sessions and provide feedback to enhance user experience.
Quality Processes: Contribute to refining and improving our QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in software testing or a related field
Proven experience in manual testing, including plan-based and exploratory approaches
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test cases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong desire to learn and grow in the QA field
Availability to work Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 17:00 UTC +/- 2 hours
While not required, the following skills are considered a plus. If you lack experience in these areas, we’ll provide training to help you develop them:
Basic SQL query writing for data verification
Experience in mobile app testing
Experience in API testing
