As Head of Partnerships, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our revenue from £1.3M to £1.8M in 2025 while improving margins. You’ll forge and nurture partnerships with B2B marketing leaders at companies with $2M-50M ARR, leveraging your commercial expertise and deep understanding of organic acquisition strategies.
You’ll oversee both agency partnerships and the growth of our FALCON AI (SaaS) product, taking full ownership from strategy development to hands-on execution.
This role is ideal for an experienced Account Manager with strong consultative sales skills and technical aptitude. We also welcome candidates from Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or Client Success backgrounds who have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through relationship building and execution. The ideal candidate has experience selling high-value solutions, navigating medium-length sales cycles, and excelling in both new business acquisition and client retention.

Your first six months will focus on mastering our approach while ensuring client retention. You’ll learn how our clients define success, enabling you to identify expansion opportunities that feel like natural recommendations rather than sales pitches. From there, you’ll shift focus to aggressive new business growth.

Building on Strong Foundations

You’ll join a business with strong momentum. Our established marketplace presence, client relationships, and inbound marketing engine consistently generate high-quality leads.
This role opens as our previous Head of Partnerships transitions after driving 3.5 years of successful growth. We’ve achieved 40% year-over-year revenue growth and have ambitious plans to continue this trajectory.
Ellipsis’ success is built on three pillars:
  • Technology: FALCON AI, our in-house keyword selection tool, uses machine learning to predict SEO Content rankings. This patent-pending technology solves the “hit and miss” problem in SEO. FALCON AI was featured in the New York Times nine months before ChatGPT’s release, positioning us as pioneers in AI. It’s both our competitive edge and a standalone SaaS product.
  • Expertise: Our in-house team delivers proven results. We handle everything from SEO strategy and content production to writing and graphic design.
  • Process: We deliver high-quality, on-time content consistently. Our rigorous quality standards ensure every piece meets client expectations.
AI has transformed SEO, but we’ve already adapted. We’re building SEO for the future. While others scramble to catch up with Google’s AI Overviews and outdated metrics, we’ve already solved these challenges and are capturing more market share. Core Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth (60%)
  • Increase agency revenue from £1.3M to £1.8M in 2025 (maintaining our 40% YoY growth streak).
  • Grow FALCON AI SaaS revenue from £50k to £150k in 2025.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships.
  • Optimize pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Expand beyond the WordPress ecosystem, where we have a strong client base.
Strategic Leadership (25%)
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to develop client solutions.
  • Lead organic marketing strategy discussions with clients.
  • Refine and challenge technical recommendations.
  • Deliver client-facing strategic presentations.
  • Identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Mentor team members in client relationship management.
  • Make decisive decisions with incomplete information when necessary.
Team Collaboration (15%)
  • Work closely with Strategy and Content teams.
  • Identify skill gaps and lead targeted training initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between sales promises and delivery.
  • Support team success in high-priority situations.
  • Take ownership of cross-team challenges proactively.

Required Capabilities:

  • Proven track record of driving B2B services revenue growth and managing $50k+ ARR partnerships.
  • Ability to independently drive initiatives to completion.

  • Comfort with learning and leveraging our advanced software stack, including custom-built tools and AI-driven automations.
We’ll provide a crash course in our unique SEO Content approach – which is 2.8x more effective than industry standards – and our FALCON AI technology. You’ll need to absorb this knowledge quickly and apply it in client discussions.
This role requires travel 6-8 times a year for team meetups and international conferences, primarily in the US and Europe.

Compensation:

Our compensation structure reflects the importance of mastering our unique approach. The first six months focus on building this foundation, with increasing earning potential as you apply your knowledge.
£70,000 base salary with £120,000 OTE (full earning potential from month 7, expected £90-110k in year 1). The variable compensation is structured as follows:
  • Months 1-3: Base salary only.
  • Months 4-6: £3,000 quarterly retention bonus (90%+ retention by revenue).
  • Months 7+: Full commission structure:
    • £3,000 quarterly retention bonus (90%+ retention by revenue).
    • Tiered commission on net account growth (3% initial, up to 6% at highest tier).
    • New client acquisition: £2,000 per client (£20k+ ARR), with an extra £1,000 per client from the 11th onward annually.
    • FALCON AI: 10% of all revenue generated.
  • Notes:
    • Commissions are uncapped.
    • A 50% commission clawback applies to churn or spending decreases within the first 12 months of a new client relationship or expansion. The retention bonus is excluded.
    • Commission excludes pre-existing baseline revenue, clearly defined during onboarding.
This structure rewards sustainable growth through acquisition and relationship building. The retention bonus emphasizes larger accounts, but maintaining strong relationships across your client base remains critical.
