Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Leverage Content Marketing, Email and SMS Marketing, PPC, Sponsorships, Affiliates and Partnerships, Social Media, and Freemium Software to drive sales growth.
  • Strategize, plan, and execute both short- and long-term processes to meet targets, prioritizing process development and documentation.
  • Enable data-driven decisions by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data, providing actionable insights, and fostering data literacy across the organization.
  • Lead and manage a team of growth professionals, making independent decisions to ensure team performance and cohesion.
  • Design and implement A/B tests to optimize website conversion rates and funnel performance.
  • Create targeted landing pages for various channels and user segments.
  • Provide conversion-focused copywriting feedback for newsletters, websites, apps, plugins, and ad copy.
  • Plan and execute high-visibility promotions across all digital marketing channels.
  • Research competitor UI/UX trends and collaborate with the team to propose new features to maintain competitiveness.
  • Drive qualified traffic to our website by improving search engine rankings.
  • Develop and execute outbound marketing strategies to complement inbound efforts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of growth-related workflows and procedures.
  • Address growth team queries and escalations promptly.
  • Promote and uphold Awesome Motive’s core values.
  • Conduct research before escalating issues and proactively identify trends and process improvements.
  • Oversee PPC campaigns, keyword research, and program ROAS.
  • Manage Affiliate Marketing and Partnerships.
  • Supervise the work of content marketing team members.
  • Document and improve internal processes and systems for the Growth team.

Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: 4+ years in growth marketing for product-led/freemium SaaS, ideally in the B2B/SMB space, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • SEO & Content Marketing: Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for marketing site content, including blog posts. Proficiency in tools like Semrush, Clearscope, and Ahrefs.
  • Copywriting: Proven experience in copywriting, as well as leading and reviewing copywriters’ work. Expertise in hiring and managing copywriters is essential.
  • Email Marketing: Demonstrated ability to craft and optimize email campaigns for SaaS products, from individual emails to full campaigns.
  • CRO / Funnels / Testing & Optimization: Expertise in SaaS best practices, including pricing page tests, countdown timers, and popups.
  • PPC / Paid Advertising: Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Search Console for PPC.
  • Affiliates & Partnerships: Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and manage affiliate programs.
  • Data & Analytics: Proficiency in GA (preferably GA4) and digital marketing channels.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with self-hosted WordPress sites as a site owner or developer.
  • Experience providing WordPress-specific support.
  • Experience training and managing managers.

Location This is a remote role—our team is spread worldwide! Our home base is in Florida, USA, so company hours are 9am - 5pm ET (UTC -5). While full-time coverage isn’t required, you must be available for part of the day.
