Growth Lead at Forager

We are looking for a driven and strategic Growth Lead to spearhead our user acquisition efforts and, crucially, boost the conversion of free users into paid subscribers for our new web application. You will be responsible for architecting our conversion funnel, using data-driven approaches to enhance user engagement and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement full-scale strategies aimed at converting free users to paid subscriptions. This involves pinpointing critical conversion stages, designing focused campaigns, and deploying impactful messaging and incentives.
  • Examine user behavior and pinpoint areas to enhance conversion rates. Use analytics tools to monitor key metrics, run A/B tests, and refine the user journey.
  • Design and roll out targeted email marketing, in-app messages, and other communication tactics to nurture free users and encourage conversions. Develop persuasive copy and tailored offers that appeal to various user segments.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to refine the onboarding process and elevate the overall user experience. Guarantee a smooth shift from free to paid.
  • Produce and oversee engaging marketing content, such as landing pages, blog articles, and social media initiatives, to bolster conversion activities. Emphasize the benefits of our paid subscription and tackle possible user concerns.
  • Build and oversee paid ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) to attract targeted traffic to our free trial and subscription pages. Fine-tune campaigns for conversion and return on investment.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for user acquisition, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Deliver regular updates and insights to the leadership team.
  • Keep current with the newest growth marketing trends and best practices, especially in the SaaS subscription industry. Consistently test and iterate to enhance conversion outcomes.
  • Set up and improve referral programs and other methods to harness existing users for acquisition and conversion.
  • Formulate and execute customer segmentation strategies to customize marketing messages and offers for distinct user groups, focusing on maximizing conversion potential.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in driving user acquisition and substantially increasing free-to-paid subscription conversion rates.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience leveraging data to guide marketing choices.
  • Skill in using marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, HubSpot).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Background in SaaS or B2B environments is advantageous.
  • Experience with A/B testing and funnel optimization.
  • Thorough knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing.
