We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer (Shopify Specialist) who can build advanced Shopify applications, enhance store performance, and implement custom features to drive business growth.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (Shopify Specialist) who can develop and optimize Shopify stores beyond basic theme adjustments. This role includes custom app development, API integrations, checkout improvements, and performance optimization.
This is a full-time position with flexible work arrangements (remote, hybrid, or in-office). You’ll collaborate with a team of eCommerce experts to create scalable, high-performing Shopify stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Custom Shopify Apps & Features – Build tailored functionalities using Liquid, JavaScript, Node.js, and Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Optimize Checkout & Cart Functionality – Enhance Shopify’s checkout process, cart functionality, and upsell/cross-sell strategies.
- Implement & Maintain API Integrations – Connect Shopify with third-party tools, CRM systems, payment gateways, and analytics platforms.
- Performance Optimization – Improve Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile responsiveness to enhance user experience and conversions.
- Custom Theme Development & Enhancements – Use Liquid, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Alpine.js) to create fully custom Shopify storefronts.
- Troubleshoot & Debug Issues – Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, store errors, and app integration challenges.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Work with design, marketing, and operations teams to align development with business objectives.
- Showcase Portfolio Insights – Present past Shopify development projects, clearly outlining custom work vs. pre-built solutions.
