The Acquisition Specialist is a key player in expanding our partner network by converting inbound marketing leads and executing strategic outbound prospecting initiatives. This role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset to engage and qualify potential partners effectively.
Key responsibilities include responding quickly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns, evaluating their needs, and determining their fit. The Acquisition Specialist will also identify and pursue high-potential prospects through outbound efforts, leveraging various tools and techniques to build a strong pipeline. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential to engage prospects, showcase Pie's value, and create a positive first impression.
This role involves close collaboration with the Business Development and Marketing teams to align outreach strategies with company goals, refine lead qualification processes, and track key metrics to measure success. The ultimate goal is to maximize new partner acquisition by efficiently converting leads and uncovering new opportunities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
New Partner Acquisition:
- Evaluate and onboard inbound marketing partner requests.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential acquisition prospects.
- Re-engage and nurture past acquisition leads to secure appointments.
- Generate excitement about partnering with Pie through compelling video presentations.
- Demonstrate strong executive presence to convert interested partners.
- Take full ownership of time management, processes, and results.
- Document all interactions and their value in SFDC for future reference.
- Collaborate with the DAS, SAM, and marketing teams to improve acquisition success metrics.
- Execute new partner contracts and manage appointment paperwork.
- Seamlessly transition new partners to the Digital Account Specialist or Strategic Manager teams as directed.
- Meet or exceed inbound and outbound activity and acquisition targets monthly.
What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in Recruiting, Partner Acquisition, or Business Development preferred.
- Adaptability to changing goals, priorities, and workflows in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) to convey complex information effectively. Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence.
- Proven ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences and build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of performance.
- Team player with a commitment to collaboration and achieving shared goals.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Suite, Looker, Groove, Highspot, and Zoominfo.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding acquisition targets and quotas.
This is an incentive-based role with no guaranteed commission. The on-target commission is approximately $10,000, based on meeting performance and production expectations.

$22.75 - $27 USD
