The Role

We’re seeking an Account Executive to spearhead new business growth in the UK nonprofit sector. In this role, you’ll deliver impactful product demonstrations, build a strong sales pipeline, and expand Donorbox’s presence in the UK. Your ability to understand the unique needs of the market and align our solutions will be critical to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Product Demonstrations (70%):
    • Deliver compelling and tailored product demonstrations to nonprofit prospects, highlighting the value of our digital fundraising and CRM platform.
    • Customize presentations to address specific client challenges and goals.
    • Simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Pipeline Development (30%):
    • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within the UK nonprofit sector.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic outreach, networking, and lead generation.
    • Track and manage sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
    • Negotiate and finalize agreements, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Market Understanding:
    • Stay informed about UK nonprofit trends, competitor activities, and evolving market demands.
    • Provide actionable feedback to product and marketing teams to refine our offerings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in selling SaaS or subscription-based services, with experience in deals ranging from £1,200 to £8,000 ($1,500 - $10,000).
  • Deep understanding of the UK nonprofit sector and its unique challenges.
  • Ability to articulate ROI and value propositions to non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and digital fundraising tools.
  • A proactive, go-getter attitude with a passion for sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline effectively.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience expanding a US-based company into the UK/European market.
  • An established network within the UK nonprofit sector.

Details

  • Fully remote position based in Ireland, the United Kingdom, or other countries within the same timezone (provided your professional experience is from the UK).
  • Salary: $75,000 USD plus commission.
