Close started as Elastic Sales, where we pioneered new sales approaches and built the first CRM with integrated calling. Today, we're a recognized leader in small business CRM solutions, known for our innovative sales techniques and strong market presence.
We're growing our inbound sales team to handle increasing demand. As an Account Executive, you'll convert high-quality leads into customers through calls, texts, chat, and video conversations.
You'll work under Liz Stephany, our Sr. Director of Sales and Customer Success, while collaborating closely with our account executive team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years of full-cycle sales experience as an Account Executive or Business Development Rep
- Understanding of SaaS, with bonus points for CRM, coaching, or marketing agency knowledge
- Proficiency with multi-channel sales approaches including LinkedIn, video, SMS, and chat
- Ability to quickly master sales software and tools
- Enthusiasm for sales innovation, especially AI-powered techniques
- Customer-focused relationship builder
- Naturally curious problem-solver who identifies client pain points
- Highly motivated with a competitive drive
- Committed to continuous improvement through feedback
- Located in US time zones (ET, CT, MT, PT)
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales process from lead qualification to closing
- Provide consultative sales guidance with customized solutions
- Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage pipelines effectively
- Engage prospects across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, chat, video)
- Prioritize rapid response to high-intent website leads
- Pilot AI-enhanced sales strategies
