About the Position
Close started as Elastic Sales, a sales-as-a-service business where we pioneered innovative sales techniques. Our CRM software was born out of the need to streamline sales communication and keep up with our team’s success (Did you know? We were the first CRM with built-in calling!). Over time, we’ve developed advanced sales practices, strong opinions, and a reputation as a leader in the small business CRM industry.
Now, we’re expanding our inbound sales team to handle a surge of high-intent leads. As an Account Executive, you’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth by engaging, qualifying, and closing prospects through multiple channels, including calls, texts, chat, and video.
You’ll report to Liz Stephany, our Sr. Director of Sales and Customer Success, and collaborate closely with our account executive team.
Who You Are
- An Account Executive or Business Development Rep with 1-2 years of full-cycle sales experience.
- Familiar with the SaaS industry—experience in CRM, coaching, or marketing agencies is a bonus!
- Skilled in using diverse sales strategies and channels, including LinkedIn, video, SMS, and chat.
- A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new software and sales tools to optimize the sales process.
- Excited to explore innovative approaches to sales, especially the potential of AI in transforming sales teams.
- Passionate about building and nurturing prospect relationships with a customer-first approach.
- Empathetic and curious—you love uncovering prospects’ pain points and connecting them with the right solutions.
- Ambitious and results-driven—you thrive on hard work and achieving success.
- Proactive in seeking feedback and committed to continuous growth and improvement.
- Based in the US (ET, CT, MT, PT).
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Engage in consultative selling, acting as a trusted advisor to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize our CRM and other sales tools to track interactions and optimize your sales pipeline.
- Conduct multi-channel outreach, connecting with prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, chat, and video.
- Drive conversions by prioritizing speed-to-lead and engaging with high-intent leads in real-time on our website.
- Experiment with AI-powered sales strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
