Your Responsibilities
We are in search of a strategic and seasoned Social Media Strategist to lead and direct our influencer and brand ambassador content initiatives. In this role, you will create data-driven strategies, offer creative guidance, and leverage analytics to enhance campaigns for optimal effectiveness and brand expansion. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to devise attention-grabbing campaigns that drive revenue.
Key Duties:
1. Consumer Cohort Development
- Recognize and delineate specific consumer cohorts based on brand goals, audience demographics, and consumer behavior insights.
- Create targeted strategies for various cohorts, taking into account their distinct preferences and interactions across different social media channels.
- Continuously enhance cohort criteria using data analytics and market research to ensure content remains fresh and engaging.
2. Content Strategy and Direction
- Craft and communicate content strategies to influencers and brand ambassadors, ensuring they are well-versed in the specifics of each social media platform (e.g., TikTok’s short-form content, Instagram Stories, YouTube Clips).
- Provide comprehensive briefs and creative direction, highlighting core messages, desired outcomes, and platform-specific recommendations.
- Keep abreast of social media developments, supplying ambassadors with innovative and engaging concepts to maintain relevance and appeal.
3. Data Evaluation and Insights
- Examine performance metrics of the content produced by influencers and ambassadors, using insights to refine strategies and boost results.
- Implement post-creative strategy (PCS) by assessing audience feedback and engagement statistics while sharing insights with content creators to inform future endeavors.
- Utilize analytics to guide decisions on content amplification and resource allocation for maximum effect.
4. Content Amplification and Paid Media Strategy
- Identify high-impact content generated by influencers and elevate it through strategic advertising campaigns.
- Manage paid social media initiatives, ensuring content reaches targeted audience segments effectively.
5. Partnership and Relationship Management
- Forge and maintain robust relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers, serving as the primary contact for any content-related requests and support.
- Conduct regular check-ins with content creators to offer feedback, brainstorm new ideas, and align on forthcoming projects.
- Facilitate collaborative efforts across marketing, creative, and social media departments to ensure unified messaging.
6. Brand Development and Customer Engagement
- Devise strategies to ensure that influencer-generated content enhances brand credibility and fosters audience trust.
- Stay attuned to cultural trends and customer preferences to steer content direction and enhance engagement.
- Leverage cohort development to customize content strategies for diverse demographics, ensuring messaging resonates with varied audience segments.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in social media strategy, influencer marketing, or similar areas.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific content strategies and how to effectively guide content creators across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Proficient in utilizing analytics tools (e.g., TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics) to assess performance and shape strategy.
- Experience in managing relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, or external content creators.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to motivate and direct content creators.
- Capability to thrive in a high-energy, dynamic environment and stay ahead of evolving social media trends.
- Willingness to work in the EST time zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of brandformance strategies (balancing brand equity with performance marketing).
- Insight into interest-based algorithms and their application through influencer collaborations.
- Experience in executing multi-platform campaigns and optimizing content for peak performance.
