Position Overview:
The Senior UX Designer will be pivotal in enhancing the user experience for all our offerings by conducting extensive research, crafting user-centric designs, and guaranteeing usability throughout the entire product lifecycle. The perfect candidate will possess a robust portfolio that highlights user research, wireframing, and interaction design, along with a solid comprehension of user experience best practices. This position necessitates close teamwork with UI designers, product managers, and developers to convert business needs and user expectations into engaging, seamless experiences.
Main Duties:
• Spearhead user research initiatives, encompassing interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design strategies.
• Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes that resonate with the product vision while addressing user issues.
• Design and refine user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, ensuring maximum usability and accessibility.
• Collaborate across departments with product, engineering, and marketing teams to assimilate feedback and enhance designs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Advocate for user needs at every phase, ensuring design coherence and quality across all user interactions.
• Refine and improve the UX design process, contributing to best practices while keeping the team updated with prevailing trends in UX and design methodologies.
• Convey and defend design choices to stakeholders, integrating feedback and aligning outcomes with project objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in UX design, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
• Expertise in design and prototyping software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent tools.
• A strong portfolio illustrating proficiency in user-centered design methodologies, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of usability principles, accessibility guidelines, and responsive design techniques.
• An analytical approach with experience utilizing tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or comparable platforms for gathering user insights.
