Surge is an expanding PPC Advertising agency, delivering impactful ad campaigns for bold organizations focusing on innovative technologies such as AI, No-code solutions, cybersecurity, Healthcare, and B2C.
We are currently seeking a PPC & CRO Specialist to oversee and manage Search, Display, PMAX, and YouTube ad campaigns.
You will collaborate closely with our Founder to enhance our Operations Department, streamlining the onboarding process for new clients, executing top-notch ad campaigns, and developing high-converting landing pages that attract new customers for our clients.
Our unique Customers-as-a-service model involves creating landing pages, setting up conversion tracking, and providing detailed analytics for each client. This will give you the chance to partner with our Technical Department in creating landing pages and conducting A/B tests.
Moreover, you’ll take a key role in refining our paid acquisition strategies for B2B demo call funnels and transitioning freemium users to premium customers.

Here’s how you will contribute:
- Manage PPC campaigns for various clients, with assistance from our strategic and technical teams.
- Discover and apply enhancements across ad campaigns and landing pages.
- Utilize analytics dashboards to analyze customer behavior, driving our performance and identifying early opportunities.
- Become a proficient advocate for Surge in paid customer acquisition, analytics, and conversion tracking.
- Create landing pages on Webflow designed to convert freemium users and sales demos.
Here are some potential projects for you
In your initial 30 days, you may:
- Identify and enhance ad campaigns for our top clients
- Launch new campaigns and oversee tests for new clients
- Collaborate with our Technical team to inform landing page designs and copywriting
- Resolve minor visual or functional issues on landing pages hindering optimal performance
In your first 90 days, you could:
- Create conversion-centric landing pages from scratch
- Establish conversion events and generate reporting dashboards
- Develop a client launch process to expedite ad campaign setups for new clients
- Initiate a structured experiment cycle to systematically improve results
By 180 days, you might:
- Formulate methods and processes that ensure we remain leaders in PPC
- Create frameworks that leverage AI to enhance our strategies and delivery
- Broaden our PPC service offerings
- Ascend into a leading role within the Operations Department and oversee all client fulfillments
The Skills You Should Possess
These skills are prioritized from most to least critical.
- Search. This will be your focus. You should be an expert (officially or informally), familiar with all platform aspects, and have a knack for data interpretation.
- Landing Pages. You should have experience building landing pages, executing conversion events, enhancing conversion rates, A/B testing, and crafting persuasive copy.
- Display & YouTube. While not mandatory, advanced familiarity with best practices in these areas will benefit you.
- Analytics + Events. We depend on the results we report. You should be confident using GA4 and event tracking via Google Tag Manager.
- Spreadsheets. As we grow, your spreadsheet capabilities should keep pace. You should be comfortable creating clean spreadsheets with moderately complex formulas effortlessly.

- You have experience with B2B demo call funnels and freemium-to-premium customer acquisition. Our clients are predominantly software firms, making experience in shopping or local businesses less relevant.
- You have a background in the tech industry and startups. Our clientele comprises funded, Seed and Series A startups. Understanding their culture, operations, and mentality will help you excel.
- You possess skills in landing page development with Webflow. You don't need to be a specialist, but being comfortable with the platform, having a design sensibility, and being able to implement changes independently is important.

- You have prior experience in paid customer acquisition. While we can provide training on our methods, having pre-existing PPC knowledge and insights will enhance your performance.
- You are self-motivated and action-oriented. You work efficiently and avoid overthinking before diving into tasks. You excel at problem-solving and appreciate autonomy in your approach.
- You stay informed. You regularly keep up-to-date with shifts in technology, whether related to PPC or otherwise.
- You are organized. With multiple clients, you'll consistently face various challenges and changes. You're adept at managing your own workload and forming processes to ensure no detail is overlooked.
