Work Arrangement: 100% remote, full-time position (work from home or co-working space) with periodic travel approximately every 2-3 months (post-COVID).

Position Overview
We at Accelerate Change are on the lookout for a versatile leader experienced in developing and managing equity programs within a diverse nonprofit environment. As the Manager of Equity Learning Programs, you will be key in building, expanding, and steering programs and initiatives that align with our organization's equity vision and objectives while monitoring our progress toward these goals.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager of Equity Learning Programs, your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the VP of People and the Executive Director to develop a sustained vision and strategy for equity learning at both individual and team levels
- Leading the design and execution of equity initiatives, programs, and training for staff
- Creating individual equity learning and discussion pathways targeted at each staff member's role, including agenda-setting, progress reporting, resource allocation, and action planning for ongoing education
- Planning and facilitating key meetings including general staff meetings, equity-focused staff meetings, onboarding sessions for new hires, equity discussions during interviews, and community-specific support sessions
- Communicating our equity vision, goals, and strategies with partners
- Acting as a thought partner for the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams and contributing to in-person team event programming
- Engaging consultants on an as-needed basis
Desired Qualifications

- 3+ years of relevant experience: Candidates must have at least three years of experience handling organizational equity initiatives. We particularly value those with experience creating equity programs in nonprofit settings.
- Flexibility: Operating in a startup environment means constant change, and we need someone who thrives in fast-paced conditions. You should be comfortable with leading initiatives in dynamic settings and providing support to your team during unexpected changes.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a remote team: We are looking for a proactive team player who is detail-oriented. You should excel in working independently while also engaging with a diverse remote team across the country, frequenting video calls as necessary.
- Effective communication: You have strong skills in giving written and verbal updates and in communicating efficiently with stakeholders. You enjoy analytical work such as developing learning modules, as much as you appreciate collaborative meeting time with colleagues.
- Interest in digital media: You recognize the significance of digital media in driving organization and social change. You actively engage—whether personally or professionally—with platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, podcasts, and streaming services, and are keen to learn more about Accelerate Change's initiatives in this arena.
Compensation and Perks
- Annual salary ranging from $69,000 to $79,000, with specific amounts determined by experience, and new hires typically beginning at lower rates.
