Responsibilities of the Global Sales Analytics Lead
- Leverage extensive structured data to extract insights that will influence key business decisions
- Communicate insights and suggestions effectively to business stakeholders and impact strategic decisions
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the Meta ads landscape, analyzing trends in business and products (including performance by region, channel, and vertical), identifying opportunities, and offering guidance to sales and product leaders
- Collaborate successfully with global cross-functional teams, yielding results in data insights while building strategic partnerships
- Design and carry out experiments (such as A/B testing and multi-armed bandit testing)
- Envision, develop, manage, and sustain centralized tools (like dashboards) for the business and Analytics teams to automate the extraction of data insights for daily operations
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Over 8 years of experience in analytical roles typically found in finance, data science, strategy, business operations, etc., or environments like consulting and banking (or over 6 years with a Master's degree)
- More than 4 years of advanced SQL expertise dealing with large data sets
- Proficient in data querying languages (e.g., SQL). Skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R) are preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in both qualitative analysis (including content analysis, hypothesis testing) and quantitative analysis methodologies (such as regression analysis and cluster analysis)
- Proven ability to initiate and complete analytical projects independently
- Experience effectively presenting technical topics to non-technical audiences and leadership
Desirable Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
- Experience conducting statistical analysis (e.g., regression, probability) with tools like Python, R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.
- Familiarity with digital advertising or ad monetization
