Even though we support remote work and our team is distributed worldwide, for this specific position we prefer candidates based between UTC and UTC+2.

The Position

Your core responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive engagement in accounting processes, ensuring all financial matters are accurate, compliant, and timely
- Thorough management of cost and revenue accounting, accurately categorizing expenses, analyzing revenue sources, and confirming that all financial activities are properly recorded and reported
- Creating and presenting financial reports, equipping key stakeholders with transparent, digestible, and actionable financial data
- Facilitating seamless operation and automation of accounting tasks, pinpointing improvement opportunities and adopting new technologies and methods to boost efficiency
About You

- You have expertise in cost and revenue accounting along with financial analysis
- You are knowledgeable in financial reporting, with the capability to simplify complex analyses into clear, actionable insights
- You possess strong judgment and instincts regarding the business implications of effective financial management and planning
- You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various levels to comprehend their financial needs
- Your communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are exemplary, and you prefer to err on the side of over-communication
- You value transparency, openness, and asking insightful questions
- You have a solid understanding of accounting principles
- You are highly proficient in utilizing accounting software, tax filing systems, Google Suite, and consider Excel (including Power Query) as a second nature
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Stripe for reporting and invoicing
- Familiarity with the Directo accounting platform
- Prior experience in a technology company or SaaS environment
- Knowledge of USA and/or international tax regulations
