Position Overview

The Amazon Marketplace Manager will be in charge of all facets of our Amazon sales operations. We are looking for a strategic thinker who possesses an extensive grasp of Amazon's algorithms and ecosystem, including Seller Central, advertising strategies, SEO, and fulfillment processes. The perfect candidate will formulate and implement strategies aimed at boosting sales, enhancing brand awareness, increasing traffic, and improving conversion rates through the creation of engaging and optimized product listings, data-driven insights, and ensuring operational excellence within the Amazon marketplace.

Primary Duties:

  • Marketplace Strategy & Oversight
    • Develop and implement a thorough strategy concerning product listings, pricing, promotions, and advertising on Amazon.
    • Continuously monitor and assess marketplace dynamics, competitive actions, and consumer behavior to uncover opportunities.
  • Product Listing Development & Management
    • Lead creative teams in producing primary and supplementary images that maximize click-through and conversion rates.
    • Enhance sales copy with pertinent keywords and captivating descriptions to boost search visibility and conversion rates.
    • Utilize A/B testing methodologies for optimization of conversion rates.
    • Ensure adherence to Amazon's policies and regulations related to product listings.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Liaison
    • Collaborate with the supply chain team to guarantee sufficient stock levels, prompt replenishments, and accurate demand forecasts.
    • Address any fulfillment or logistics challenges swiftly.
    • Monitor inventory performance metrics to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Performance Evaluation & Reporting
    • Examine sales data, customer reviews, and performance metrics for areas needing enhancement.
    • Prepare weekly reports to inform stakeholders on performance and areas for improvement.
    • Track essential performance indicators (KPIs) such as impressions, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates (CVR), and advertising cost of sales (ACOS).
  • Promotions & Advertising
    • Establish and oversee Amazon PPC campaigns (e.g., Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands) to bolster product visibility and drive sales.
    • Design and initiate promotional events, discounts, and deals (e.g., Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Coupons) to encourage demand and draw in new customers.
    • Implement strategies to channel external traffic from social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to our Amazon product listings.
  • Customer Interaction
    • Actively track customer reviews and feedback to uphold a positive brand image by ensuring:
      • The customer service team provides an outstanding experience.
      • The R&D team promptly resolves product defects, if identified.
      • The marketing team rectifies any misleading advertising material to meet customers' expectations.
    • Develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty on the Amazon platform.
  • Collaborative Engagement
    • Work alongside marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure coordinated efforts on Amazon projects.
    • Facilitate new product launches and category expansions on Amazon.
    • Engage with external partners (e.g., PPC management software) and vendors to bolster marketplace strategies.
  • Compliance with Amazon Regulations
    • Keep abreast of changes in Amazon's policies, guidelines, and marketplace trends to stay compliant and adaptable.
    • Participate in training and professional development opportunities relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Who are you?

  • Experience:
    • At least 3-5 years managing Amazon Seller Central accounts.
    • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and optimizing performance metrics on Amazon.
    • Familiarity with Amazon Advertising platforms and instruments.
    • A proven ability to generate external traffic to Amazon listings is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Comprehensive understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA, and advertising.
    • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and reporting tools.
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
    • Proficiency in e-commerce tools and platforms; experience with third-party Amazon management software is an advantage.
