Senior Backend Engineer (Go) – Cloud Infrastructure & Scalable Systems
We're looking for an experienced backend engineer specializing in Go to design, build, and maintain high-performance cloud infrastructure. You'll take full ownership of our deployment pipeline, security compliance, and the architecture powering our AI-driven platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize backend services in Go for maximum performance and reliability
- Manage multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) with infrastructure-as-code
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security controls
- Drive SOC 2 compliance and embed security best practices across systems
- Design APIs that efficiently serve data to our frontend applications
- Continuously improve cloud cost efficiency across providers
- Automate infrastructure deployment and scaling processes
- Collaborate on architectural decisions balancing speed and maintainability
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of professional backend development experience
- 2+ years of production Go development
- Multi-cloud expertise (AWS + GCP + Azure)
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices
- DevOps proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure tooling
- Security-conscious approach to system design
- Proven ability to build and scale production systems
- Self-starter mentality with end-to-end ownership
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on SOC 2 audit experience
- Background in AI/ML infrastructure or large-scale data pipelines
- Multi-cloud cost optimization experience
- Track record of improving developer productivity
- Supply chain, logistics, or enterprise software knowledge
