uSERP, an elite SEO agency renowned for premium link building as our core competitive advantage, is hiring an SEO Director to spearhead our expanding SEO department and accelerate organic growth across 70+ client accounts spanning various industries including SaaS and consumer brands. This leader will drive SEO strategy development, mentor managers and analysts, and collaborate with executive leadership to synchronize client outcomes with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy Leadership
  • Develop, document, and standardize SEO methodologies across client portfolios to ensure campaign consistency and maximum effectiveness.
  • Supervise client strategy creation and execution, maintaining alignment with client objectives.
  • Provide expert direction on keyword targeting, content architecture, technical SEO implementations, and link development strategies.

Client Partnership Management
  • Directly manage strategic client relationships
  • Transform sophisticated SEO insights into tangible business outcomes for client decision-makers.

Cross-Functional Integration
  • Coordinate with Content, Outreach, and Operations departments to deliver unified SEO solutions.
  • Synchronize SEO initiatives with sales/marketing campaigns and contribute business development expertise.

Performance Measurement & Reporting
  • Define key performance indicators and reporting structures to assess SEO effectiveness across all accounts.
  • Track scaled performance metrics, identify patterns, and implement improvements across the client portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 6+ years demonstrated SEO expertise, including 3+ years in senior leadership positions managing teams. (Direct client interaction strongly preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of white-hat SEO practices, technical SEO, and content enhancement techniques.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and multitasking skills to thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
  • Extensive proficiency with SEO platforms including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
  • Outstanding communication abilities to articulate SEO principles to both technical specialists and business stakeholders.
  • Background managing multiple concurrent accounts within agency settings.
  • Capacity to balance strategic planning with hands-on implementation when necessary.
  • Proactive approach to driving projects forward in remote, high-velocity work environments.
  • Hands-on SEO implementation experience, not just administrative tasks or basic tool reporting.
