Lead Product Designer at Neighborhood Hosts, Inc

Our company is a fully remote hotel and Airbnb management firm, originally founded in New York City back in 2015. Our team is distributed globally, and we've been pioneers in the work-from-home model long before it became mainstream. We successfully navigated the challenges of the pandemic and are now entering an exciting new phase of growth.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our guest and booking services team. This position is central to providing exceptional support to our guests, which includes answering inquiries, verifying booking requests, and resolving issues. Given the current volume, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to various administrative, marketing, sales, or research projects during your shift, tailored to your specific skills and interests.

The work schedule requires you to be at your computer from Monday to Thursday. From Friday to Sunday, the expectation is to monitor calls and messages via your phone. Please detail your relevant hotel or Airbnb guest service background in your application.

Monthly salary is set between $1,250 and $2,500, determined by your level of experience.

- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in hotel or Airbnb guest services

- A reliable primary internet connection with speeds of at least 30mbps

- Access to a backup internet source and power supply for outages

- A laptop and smartphone capable of running the latest versions of iGMS and Line2

- A composed and resourceful personality

- Skill in creative problem-solving, even in high-pressure situations

- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks concurrently

- Background in social media management

- Experience in sales

- Knowledge of marketing strategies

- Proficiency in real estate research

- Fluency in Spanish, Hebrew, and/or German

- 3 weeks of paid vacation after the initial 6-month period

- 5 days of paid family or sick leave (convertible to vacation if unused) after 6 months

- $2,000 in education credits after your first 6 months

- Flexible holiday observance (phone monitoring required, but with freedom to celebrate)

- Complete location independence, as long as you have a stable internet connection

Applications without a minimum of 5 years of specific hotel or Airbnb guest service experience will not be considered. The role requires you to work independently after a one-week training period, and this level of autonomy necessitates substantial prior experience.
