Head of Operations at Solé Bicycles
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Head of Operations to drive efficiency across our entire business—from e-commerce and logistics to retail and customer service. You’ll ensure seamless operations while maintaining our brand’s high standards and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead domestic operations, including inventory, fulfillment, and shipping logistics
- Manage international order processing and coordination
- Optimize customer service performance using Gorgias and internal tools
- Streamline the e-commerce customer journey from order to delivery
- Supervise daily retail store operations and staff
- Enhance internal systems and documentation with tools like Confluence and Asana
- Partner with finance, marketing, and product teams to execute business strategies
- Track and improve KPIs like fulfillment speed, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency
- Spot inefficiencies, propose solutions, and scale operations for growth
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in operations leadership (e-commerce, retail, or DTC preferred)
- Proven track record in fulfillment, logistics, customer service, and retail
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with teams and vendors
- Highly organized, detail-driven, and solution-focused
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Experience in fast-growing or scaling companies is a plus
- Must be available to work in US Pacific Time
Technical Must-Haves:
- Shopify – Order management and fulfillment expertise
- Gorgias – Support ticket and agent management
- Asana – Cross-departmental project coordination
- Confluence – Process documentation
- QuickBooks – Finance and procurement coordination
- Google Workspace – Sheets, Docs, and Drive proficiency
- AI Tools (.AI) – Automation and efficiency optimization
