Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Shape long-term investment strategy and portfolio expansion
- Drive investment committee discussions and key decisions
- Build scalable investment evaluation processes
- Leverage fintech and analytics for operational improvements
- Oversee legal, compliance and tax strategy execution
- Engage in capital markets discussions with institutional partners
Deal Origination & Analysis:
- Manage the full investment pipeline from sourcing to selection
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and risk assessment
- Structure complex capital stacks and investment models
- Perform thorough market and operator due diligence
- Prepare and present investment recommendations
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and enhance asset performance
- Implement value-creation strategies
- Track financial metrics and budget compliance
- Manage relationships with operating partners and stakeholders
- Deliver transparent investor reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years in real estate investing with institutional and boutique experience
- Deep expertise in private equity real estate transactions
- Multifamily specialization preferred (other asset classes considered with relevant experience)
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proven ability to execute deals while maintaining strategic oversight
- Strong market knowledge and economic insight
- Skilled in managing operator and investor relationships
- Proficient with Excel, CoStar, Yardi, and similar tools
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Resourceful with strong prioritization skills
- Capital raising experience is advantageous
