Bye is the AI agent for resale stores designed to replace their consignment operation at 1/10th the cost of humans. The company has raised $1.5M+ from prominent investors, including ex-Forever21 president, ex-Sony execs, athlete celebrities, unicorn resale marketplace co-founders, and Orange Fund (YC Alumni fund), among others. The founders are both from Japan:
- Datz (CEO, based in SF) is the first fashion YouTuber in Japan with over 1M total views
- Shin (CTO, based in Japan) is an experienced full-stack developer and two-time founder.
Although the HQ is in SF, we operate in a fully remote work environment, with technical hiring led by Shin, hence leaning more towards the JST time zone. We are highly committed to building something new on a global scale that will change people’s behavior.
