Join our amazing team! Navicore Solutions is hiring Bilingual Counselors in our Counseling Department. This is a full-time, remote role with all training provided remotely. All necessary technology is supplied by the company.
Schedule: Flexible 40-hour work week within business hours
Pay: $20.37 per hour
What does a Bilingual Counselor do?
Job Summary
As a Counselor, you will support individuals and families facing financial challenges. You will present clients with available options and guide them in choosing the best solution for their circumstances. You will deliver counseling over the phone in a call center setting, using your training, certifications, and interpersonal abilities to reassure clients and guide them toward financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver financial counseling following established standards to consumers in need. The role involves multiple processes and procedures for both counseling delivery and data recording.
- Engage in extended phone conversations with consumers, client referrals, and industry contacts.
- Maintain focus and availability for inbound calls in a remote setting without background noise or interruptions.
- Manage high call volumes, phone interactions, and achieve performance benchmarks.
- Connect with consumers by phone and accurately record all communication and data using the company’s proprietary CMS software.
- Multi-task and operate multiple software applications including the agency’s CMS, Outlook, Adobe, Word, and a smartphone.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Minimum 2 years in customer service, call center, finance, case management, or social services
- Computer proficiency, typing speed of at least 25 words per minute, and comfort with phone-based work
- Must obtain NFCC and HUD Housing Counselor Certification within 6 months of employment
- Effective and professional phone communication in a high-volume inbound call center
- Open to coaching and feedback. Able to communicate well with supervisors and management
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening including criminal background check and drug test

- Familiarity with call-center operations and productivity expectations
